You’re not a regular sale guy

Posted on 14 December 2006

More and more people comes to the blog trying to find out if they match the entrepreneurship profile. They try to look for signs to tell them if they could handle the job, if they could handle the stress and if they have the right expectations.

I’ve been told today that I’m not quite the regular sale guy. I must be missing that something fishy that every sale guy has. So when the question came “Why don’t you do programming?” I just realized I must be really missing something a regular sale guy has, because I immediately started thinking “yes, I might be a programming guy”

Ok, so now, this makes me something in between. I always liked to know about light technical things, then go out, explain to a non technical person and then eventually, selling it.

Then about entrepreneurship. I’m not the regular entrepreneur – I didn’t quit my job and don’t really like to take big risks. So, I’m not a real Entrepreneur either.

Now, let’s rephrase this. I’m not a sales guy, I’m not a technical guy, I’m not an entrepreneur. Then who am I?

Well, I’m different. We are all different. So when you get to my site wondering if you could be an entrepreneur, you’re not looking at the right place. You should take 2 days off and see if your heart tells you that you are an entrepreneur. What would you like to do in life? You are what you feel you are.

So, who are you?
