The Foundation for Youth Social Entrepreneurship (ASIA)

Posted on 01 January 2010

The Foundation for Youth Social Entrepreneurship (FYSE) is a regional organization focusing on building an entrepreneurial environment for young people in Asia. Our program, the Asia Pacific Future 100 as a regional youth entrepreneurship campaign aims to raise awareness of entrepreneurship among young people in the region and to inspire them to follow suit on an entrepreneurial venture. We believe young people in Asia have the passion and potential to succeed as entrepreneur, all they need is further encouragement and support to turn ideas into successful ventures.

We focus our efforts on 3 major issues:
1. Inspiring: Inspiring young people to consider entrepreneurship through our Asia Pacific Future 100 program.
2. Empowering: Providing motivated young people with the necessary knowledge and skills to turn their dreams into actions.
3. Enabling: Providing youth with an opportunity to challenge their entrepreneurial creativity in our Imagine it! challenge.

Our ultimate aim is to foster a culture in Asia in which youth entrepreneurship is at the forefront of the policy agenda, a culture where various actors such as universities, governments, NGOs and corporations collaborate to advance youth entrepreneurship and in which young people feel inspired, valued and empowered to succeed as entrepreneurs.
