Stress on the road to the office

Posted on March 13, 2006

We might have an issue here. Companies are somehow interested to offer a good working environment because they want you to be productive and bring them a good value for the money they are paying.

But if you are living and working in a big town, chances are that you will spend a good time traveling to the office and back, and this will expose you to a number of external influences, just before getting to the office. You simply could get angry on the traffic, have a fight over the parking space or other unpleasant things. And you can’t just erase everything when you enter the office building. Your feelings will follow you for part of a day. And probably your office is in a busy side of the town where everybody goes at the same hour. That’s not good. And what are companies doing about it? Well, nothing.

So take care on the road to heaven.
