Posted on 14 August 2008

Requirements to start a business are very different from country to country. Australia seems to be the place where is most easy to start a business, but I believe US is good as well. If you ever wondered what are the requirements to do business in US, Alex Iskold prepared a very comprehensive report that talks about:

  • Business entities – the ways you can do business and register a company in US – Sole proprietorship, Limited Liability Partnerships (LLP), Corporations
  • Shareholders, Directors and Management
  • Key Documents – Articles of Incorporation, Shareholders Agreement,Corporate Bylaws
  • Legal and Finance, talking about the complexity of accounting and keeping up with the legal requirements
  • Venture Financing or raising money for your business

The article gets all this together, it not very detailed but it helps you get a nice overview on what it takes to stat a business in US. The article is here.
