Smart Moms will offer a no-cost Business Opportunity Expo February 17 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Business Networking Center (BNC) where those seeking employment or additional revenue streams can learn about franchise opportunities and 23 unique home-based business options. These events are co-sponsored by Carolina Job Finders, We-Care NC, and The Triangle Networking Group. The BNC is located at 649 Walnut Street in Cary (near Cary High School).
“We were delighted with the turn-out last month and expect to increase that number in February” says Garla Smith, owner of Smart Moms. Dan Pendergast will deliver a short talk at 10:00 a.m. entitled ‘Five Tips for Evaluating a Franchise’ to add value for all attendees. This monthly event will be valuable for those interested in supplementing current income, investigating turnkey businesses with low start-up costs, starting a business while looking for full-time work and for those with an entrepreneurial spirit. Job-seekers may want to explore other opportunities as well as continue in seeking employment through traditional means.
Comments after the January event include “this was a great one-stop shop for anyone looking for a terrific opportunity” and “a well-organized event that drew people who attended with a purpose” as well as “a very-well organized expo held in the perfect venue.”
Online advanced registration is appreciated, but not required. Those who pre-register will receive the report “20 Most Frequently Asked Questions about Franchising” as a gift.
