Part time Entrepreneur dilemma: changing jobs
Posted on January 2, 2006
OK. I’m taking Entrepreneurship as a part time job while still working in a 9 to 5 Corporate environment and right now it seems I might want to change my full job. Having my own business on the side, its far more complicated to take the usual decisions involved by a job change. I now have to consider any possible legal or human interference with my future job, and to tell you the truth, having your own business changes a lot your way to see things. I have to evaluate if staying with my own company would be more profitable or perhaps more fun, or if a job change is bearable after experiencing the “your own boss” thing.
And while my business did ok as a part time job (as we first planned it) is it strong enough to support a full time thing? Is this the right time to do it?
