Area entrepreneurs will be able to access a variety of resources at one event — the Minnesota Marketplace for Entrepreneurs — from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 30, at the Verizon Wireless Center.
The Minnesota Marketplace for Entrepreneurs will include educational sessions, which will cover business topics for entrepreneurs and inventors. Entrepreneurs may also participate in a competition in which they describe their business in three minutes. The event is free and open to the public.
The marketplace will include booths where businesses and service providers showcase their products and services for entrepreneurs. Those wishing to exhibit can visit mnmarketplace.org to register and get details on an early bird discount for exhibitors registering by Friday. Entrepreneurs also will have the opportunity to exhibit at the event at no charge and sell their products through a consignment store operated by the Minnesota State University Entrepreneurship Club. The registration deadline for all exhibitors is March 23.
The event is presented by Bethany Lutheran College, Greater Mankato Business Accelerator, Minnesota Inventors Congress, MSU, Riverbend Center for Entrepreneurial Facilitation, South Central College, South Central Small Business Development Center and Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation.
