Just received my first Text Link Ads check

I was just about to write about the changes I did to the blog following the “How many improvement opportunities you miss a day?” post, when I received the Text Link Ads check in my mail.
Text Link Ads is about placing fixed ads on your site (fixed like in they are not going to change for the entire month after having selected them). I have to say that I somehow enjoy Text Link Ads more than contextual advertising because:
- They give you much more control over what you are selling
- They bring in a stable income (once you placed them on your site, they will bring revenue regardless if visitors click on them or not)
- They are not so affected if you have a different content - meaning if you make some content about the last movie you saw they aren’t going to change and display movie content ads even if your site is about entrepreneurship

Coming back on the changes I’ve did to the blog, following the feedback from my fellow blogger Black on Stuff I’ve did some improvements to the blog - meaning restoring some useful features 
-. Put back comments and trackbacks, took out the header picture that wasn’t related to the blog.
As I’m looking forward to migrate the blog to be a Small Business Entrepreneurship resource rather than a personal journal, I’ve did some changes of my own, like changing the blog name in Small Business Entrepreneur and bought a new domain for it: http://www.small-business-entrepreneur.org
I’m planning to add more and more small business resources and make it a truly inspirational place for small business owners and start-ups.
