How I “tricked” Tyler Cruz to visit my blog!
Posted on September 4, 2007
Tyler Cruz is (IMHO) the new kid on the block Web Entrepreneur - he is 24 (damn this makes me look old).
He missed that “brag about myself” attitude that most established web Entrepreneurs have and still keeps a dose of innocence and that’s why I read his blog daily, right after Seth Godin and Shoemoney.
I recently saw in one of his posts that he is looking for guest posters and a contact link and I though this might be a good enough reasons to get me pass through the anti-spam filters and actually get in contact with the real person. This actually worked, and I could see him in my logs
I didn’t got to make a guest post, but this doesn’t stop me from saying something about Tyler:
You will get to know lots of things about Tyler from his About Page, how he started being an Internet Entrepreneur and making money from his sites.
He does some nice reviews on software he uses for his blogging (like for example how to Automatically Backing Up Your PC Daily) or about using Analytics, he explains the beauty and challenges in getting powerful domain names and more stuff about making money blogging. And the nicest thing of all is that he is publishing his site stats live. You can really see how many visits each of his sites have, what goes well and what goes wrong. Here is a nice example, about his main sites: Movie-Vault.com, TylerCruz.com, PublisherSpot.com and a number of other sites, some successful, some not.
Tyler is a “Poker aficionado” and he makes sure you know about his Casino adventures, especially as he also runs PokerForums.org
He gives me 5 minutes per day of Internet non-hyped reality. Real stuff.

Couldn’t stop myself from commenting his reply here
