Entrepreneurship: building communities
Posted on November 15, 2005
As an entrepreneur or manager, having a bunch of people that love your products, your company or your team is probably one of the most desirable things to have and a sign of fortune, good quality products and satisfied customers.
One of the most interesting communities that I saw growing under my eyes is “Team InterAKT” - a group of satisfied InterAKT customers that decided to help the vendor to improve its products and services. You might wonder why these people decided to spend their free time and join their forces with a commercial company and help in the creation of the products that they are actually paying for:
- because they love the InterAKT products
- because they like the InterAKT support
- they would like to have their ideas introduced in the products and benefit from them later
- they like the “community’ spirit
- they want and enjoy to help
- are impressed by the collaboration with a big company
And what does the vendor gain?
- good and real feedback from the market
- out of the box ideas
- free testing and help
- good mana
- spread of the word - more sales to come from enthusiast users
Do you have enough satisfied customers?
